A shocking incident at the Anugraha Narayan Road railway station in Bihar has gone viral after a YouTuber was caught slapping a random passenger on a moving train. The man, later identified as Ritesh Kumar, was filmed casually reaching through the window of the train to slap a seated passenger, all for the sake of gaining social media attention.

The disturbing video quickly circulated online, sparking outrage. Kumar later admitted to the act, claiming he did it to increase his Instagram followers. In response to the incident, the Railway Protection Force (RPF) took swift action, tracking down and arresting the YouTuber.

RPF Dehri-on-Sone issued a statement on X, condemning the reckless behavior: “No compromise on passenger security!! A YouTuber who slapped a passenger on a moving train for social media fame has been tracked and arrested by RPF. Your safety matters to us—reckless acts will not be tolerated.”

While in police custody, Kumar issued a public apology, acknowledging his mistake and admitting that he was only trying to boost his online popularity. “I am a YouTuber. I make and post videos on Instagram to increase my followers. I came to Anugraha Narayan Road railway station and, to boost my follower count, slapped a passenger on a moving train. This was my mistake, and I won’t repeat it. Please forgive me,” he said in a video.

The incident has sparked heated debates on social media, with many condemning the act as harassment rather than entertainment. One user expressed, “What’s wrong with people nowadays? This isn’t entertainment—it’s harassment!” Another called for stricter penalties, commenting, “Glad he was arrested! Hopefully, others will learn from this.”
